I am a Forester who works in the Washington and Oregon region. My prior experience is with the Department of Natural Resources performing wildland fire suppression and fuels reduction. I now enjoy timber cruising, typical forest inventories, and locating and flagging boundary lines. I also write forest practice applications for small forest land owners. I have taken part in site prep and tree planting and am a licensed pesticide commercial operator. I'm proficient at ArcGIS, public land surveys and GPS for the use of creating maps for management plans and inventories. My education came from Green River Community College and I am a recent graduate with degrees in Forestry and Wildland Fire.

Growing up with two generations of foresters before me, I was involved with several aspects of family land management, including timber harvesting. In 1977 I moved to the Pacific Northwest where I completed my Associate Technical Arts Degree in Forestry from Centralia College. In 1999 I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Administration from City University.
From October 1977 to 1988 I worked for Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) as a silvicultural forester and fire management specialist at the South Puget Sound Regional office in Enumclaw, Washington. During my employment with DNR, I worked with all aspects of reforestation and protection of timberlands. I began consulting in 1988 and have worked with most of the major timber companies in western Washington. In 1991, I became a forester for New Mexico State Forestry working with private landowners preparing forest management plans and assisting with the management of their forestlands.
Since 1993 I have owned and managed the operations of Cascade Resource Management, LLC, a private consulting business designed to provide landowners with the technical and professional assistance necessary to successfully manage their forest lands.
The primary focus for the past several years has been in timber management and harvest permitting of private forest land. My goal is to maximize the revenue for the landowner while providing environmental protection our natural resources.
My goals and objectives, as well as those of the company, are to provide the landowner with highest level of professionalism and provide the “Best Management Practices” for the forest land being managed. The needs of the landowner are the highest priority and our goal is to meet those needs.
